The basics
Four habits that help

- Put jewellery on after perfume and take it off before swimming.
- Bring it to our showroom once a year for a free clean and check.

Cleaning guide
Gold
- Soak briefly in lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap.
- Clean gently with a soft brush, rinse and pat dry.
- Keep away from chlorine and harsh cleaners.
Diamonds
- Wash in warm soapy water and brush softly behind the stone.
- Avoid touching the stone, as oils dull the shine.
- Have the setting checked once a year.
Pearls and gemstones
- Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth only.
- Do not use steam or ultrasonic cleaners on pearls or emeralds.
- Put them on last, after perfume and hairspray.
Enamel, kundan and jadau
- Keep dry and avoid soaking.
- Wipe gently with a dry soft cloth.
- Store in a padded pouch so stones are not knocked.
Chains
- Close the clasp before storing to prevent tangles.
- Store flat or hang them up.
- Take them off for sleep and exercise.
Storage
- Keep each piece in its own pouch or box.
